I am loving the fact that Lola is already sleeping through the night. Not only is she sleeping through the night without waking up, but she is sleeping for about 9-10 hours a night! I love it. I have finally caught up on my sleep and I feel rested. Some mornings I have to wake her up! I hope that's normal....
I think it may be the night time routine we have worked out. At 9:00-9:30 pm, I give her a bath. She loves bath time, by the way...it's pretty cute. After her bath, we rub her down with the night time soothing lotion and allow her to watch her mobile and listen to her music while we dress her in her jammies for the night. Some nights she plays a little longer and we just watch her and laugh. She's getting to the point to where she is laughing and smiling, but no "coos" or "goos" just yet. She tries her hardest to talk, but she's not there yet. After she's done playing, she is ready for her 6-7 ounces of milk! By 10:30, she is usually full and passed out. She goes into her crib between 10:00 and 10:30; and going by the doctor's advice, if she isn't fully asleep when we put her down to let her fall asleep on her own. Which she does amazingly well. So, most nights I am in bed by 11:00 pm and don't have to wake up till at least 6:30, if not later.
Yay for rested mommies! It makes life so much easier.
